Happy Spring!

So as you can see I'm a bit of a dork. What can I say? It's fun.
This silky skirt was made from an old wrap I received as a gift. I never used it because I find it hard to use a wrap other than a table cloth. So I sewed it, put some elastic in there, and now it's a pretty skirt. So thank you, Emily for the pretty wrap from Africa that is now a pretty skirt.
The end.
Quick Question:
Do you want to know how I made the skirt?
Love love love the shoes & tights & everything about this! Who knew you had 2 twins ;) Weirded me out for a second haha.
ReplyDelete"Me-Made" - hehe I like that.
I think Emily will be very happy with the way you put that wrap to work! I didn't even recognize it! You're so crafty :) Also, who is taking the pics for you? I have a hard time believing it's Daniel...lol.
And YES, I do want to know how you made the skirt...you make it sound so simple, but I'm sure it's not! There have been so many times that I've found a material or wrap-ish thing that I like and think "gee, I wish this was a ______." If skirt ever fits the blank, then next time I'm going to buy it & get a hold of you! :) Since I am a Texas girl I need to start wearing more skirts (since pants are too hot 90% of the year), so this would be a very nice thing to know how to do! Should I invest in a sewing machine??
You are so adorable, Staci! I agree, I'm sure that Emily will be so excited to see what you did with the wrap :)
ReplyDeleteOMGosh!! Staci-- you are incredible!! Not only the fashion, but the photography, as well!!! I am soooooooooooo impressed!!!
ReplyDeleteI just think you make ANY outfit adorable when you wear it!!!
Can I help you with your blog when I'm up there!!!
Pretty please!!!
I love you :)
Thanks ladies for the encouragements! I am glad that I am finally able to use the gift from Emily now. Sorry about the twins, I was experimenting with photoshop and saw it in another blogger's post. I am finding that I'm a bigger fan of the picture with the shoes and the headband. That type of cropping is my preference. It's so easy to make that skirt, and I will post the tutorial. I think a sewing machine is a great investment. You will need one to make that skirt...
