She Wore : Navy & Peach
Peach Sweater : Salvation Army $ 3| Navy Silk Oversized Tee: Thrifted ~$2| Skinnies: Walmart $7| Like-New Keds: Goodwill $4| Scarf: Family Dollar $6| Coral Necklace: Goodwill $3| Coral&Gold Earrings: Goodwill $3| Sweet Shades: Gift from my seester
Welcome to my comfort zone. Scarves, sneakers, over sized tops and skinnies. Not to mention sunglasses that cover half of my face.
Coral in my ears, necklace and shoes. Navy in my jeans tee and scarf. Peach in my sweater.
I like matchy-matchy. Even though they say it's not good. Like a matching dining set. I like it. Call me crazy I guess.
But of course there's a balance to everything and I like variety.

Unusual Organizing
Bouquet of Headbands
Pots of Bracelets
Vase of Sunglasses
I really enjoy organizing. Recently I decided to just change things. Not because there was something wrong with the way it was, just because I wanted it to be new and different.
Ya know what I mean?
My headband collection is growing considerably. I've decided they are one of my favorite accessories. Especially with my short hair. This is my favorite way to store them, because:
1. they are pretty
2. it's very easy to see them all
3. they are easily accessible
&
4. they are easy to put away and keep organized.
This was my favorite discovery during my re-organizing mission. This is actually an old coffee pot that was left in our house when we bought it.
I have no idea how old it is, but I know these haven't been used for a long time.
Vintage storage. I like it.
Plus, I haven't found a happy way, until now, to store and see my bracelets. As you can see I have plenty, and when I can't see them or get to them, I don't wear them. I really don't like wasted things or space, so this is an effort to wear out all my bracelets. I would have never stored my bracelets in and old coffee pot, but the strange idea hit me and now it's my favorite, like I mentioned just a bit ago. I think that is why I like it so much, because bracelets and coffee pots just don't seem to go together in my head, but when paired, it's a pleasant surprise.
I am also exited about this discovery. My wonderful sister, Angi, just sent me 3 pair of new sunglasses. Now I know they will be used, and I get to look at their pretty frames whenever I am in my closet.
I think it is the coolest thing when a decoration is functional and useful.
Or, put in other terms: When things we need to use everyday are displayed or arranged pretty enough to be a decoration too.
I hope this inspired you to get organizing with some unusual things in some unusual ways.
Happy Spring cleaning!
The end.

She wore a purple jacket
Purple Jacket was a steal from Wally world for about $3 |
Maxi Skirt was found at Keweenaw Consignment for less than $5 |
This location is called the Dry House Ruins. I drive by here every day to and from work. |
Bracelets are both compliments of Premier Designs Jewelry. |
Earrings were a lovely Goodwill find. $3 |
Headband was found at Family Dollar for $2. |
Colorful shirt is a sale item from Old Navy. Less than $10. |
Sunglasses were also found at Goodwill for a cool $2 |
This sign is lovely. I get to admire it every day to and from work. |
Sunshine makes the heart happy |
Here I stand in an old basement of a motel that burned down years ago. A little creepy, but it is probably my new favorite outfit spot. |
I have to be honest, I like the fact that this angle makes me look taller. |
Thanks for sharing this adventure of ruins, new outfits, basements, and sunshine. I hope you can get out and explore. Maybe you will find some beautiful places along your daily commute too. .
The end.
